OUR LOCALITY

Joppa is a quiet mature residential area built mostly in the Victorian Era (mid to late 1800s). There are many fine buildings and there is a “village style” atmosphere with good local facilities including shops, local cafes, bars and restaurants - and of course it is known as Edinburgh’s Seaside with a fine sandy beach and long level promenade just a few yards from our door. The City Centre with Edinburgh Castle and historic skyline is just a short busride away.
